Extension to Holiday Caravan Park, Lincolnshire

October, 2023

​Planning permission was granted for an extension to an existing caravan park, involving an additional 24 static caravan pitches. Professional services included the preparation of a Planning Statement covering all the planning aspects from policy to landscape impact, flooding, and highways. During preparation of the scheme and post-submission of the application, advice was provided on various issues resulting from the proposal.​

Recommencing Barn Conversion after 25 years, Norfolk

October, 2023​

​

Our client was purchasing barns and wanted to complete the development. However, on investigation, the planning consent granted in the 1990s was subject to amendments and the Council had retained only partial records. An application for a Certificate of Lawful Existing Use or Development was granted, establishing the work had on the balance of probabilities been carried out in accordance with the approved scheme.​Section 73 and non-material amendment applications were subsequently submitted to establish amended access and design in accordance with the client's requirements.​

New Build Holiday Let Units, Lincolnshire

Holiday apartment converted from agricultural building

Planning permission granted for a two-storey building containing three holiday let units - 2 x 5 bed units and 1 x 4 bed unit. These new build units compliment an existing farm building previously converted to provided three holiday let units. The units have all year round holiday use.

Grade II Listed Building Residential Conversion & Extension, Norfolk Broads

Listed Windmill in Norfolk Broads National Park, planning permission for extension to provide residential accommodation

A Grade II Listed Building, we project managed the application process and consultants, resulting in planning permission and Listed Building Consent, being obtained to transform the existing buildings – which include the mill and pumphouse, situated on the River Bure - into a riverside residence, annexe and visitor centre.

Obtained approval of reserved matters for Phase 2 comprising 246 dwellings, totalling 335 dwellings with the earlier Phase 1 approval in 2019. Services provided included negotiations with planning officers, preparation of Design & Access Statement with particular regard to maintaining important visual inks between historic buildings and the Abbey. Project managed process and consultants.

Detailed planning permission obtained for 322 dwellings. We provided services from the outset of this project in promoting have the site as an allocated in the Local Plan, to preparation and managing the application process.
